Midget Trappers drop a pair in Sudbury

The North Bay & District Midget AAA Trappers lost a pair of games to the two Sudbury based Great North Midget League teams. On Saturday, the Sudbury Nickel Capital Wolves edged the Trappers 3-2.

The North Bay & District Midget AAA Trappers lost a pair of games to the two Sudbury based Great North Midget League teams.   

On Saturday, the Sudbury Nickel Capital Wolves edged the Trappers 3-2.  

Eric Paquette scored the game winner on a 3rd period power play for the Wolves.  

Dawson Meecham and Jeff Jordan scored for the Trappers in the loss.  Jacob Delisle was credited with 2 assists.   

On Sunday afternoon the Trappers dropped a 6-4 decision to the Nickel City Sons.  

Mathieu Quenville led the Sons with 3 goals.  

The Trappers replied with 3 power play goals including a pair from Charlie Iserhoff.  Jeff Jordan and Devyn Martel had the other goals for the visitors.  

The 2 road losses drop the Trappers record to 4-7 on the season.   

The Trappers are back in action on Wednesday, November 5th when they host the Nickel City Sons at West Ferris arena.  Puck drop is set for 7:20 p.m.
