The Oshawa Generals pay a visit to Memorial Gardens to face the North Bay Battalion Thursday night at the Gardens.

As you recall, the Troops swept the Gens 4-0 in the OHL Eastern Conference final last spring.

The Generals come in ranked #7 in the nation and first in the Eastern Conference with a 9-1-1 record to start the year.

The Gens are led offensively by Cole Cassels who sits 4th in OHL scoring with 20 points (4G 16A).

Between the pipes, North Bay's Kenny Appleby has taken over the starting goaltender duties from Daniel Altschuler and is leading the OHL in 3 goaltending categories including wins, save percentage and goals against average.

The Battalion sit in 2nd place in the Central Diviision and 4th overall in the Eastern Conference with a 4-1-3-0 record.

Nick Paul scored twice in a 4-3 comeback victory over the Mississauga Steelheads at the Gardens on Sunday.

Paul and teammate Kyle Wood were both named to the OHL All-Star team for the upcoming Subway Super Series which the Ontario Juniors will face the best Juniors from Russia.
