The Nipissing Lakers salvaged a weekend split by defeating the RMC Paladins 6-4 in OUA Varsity Men's Hockey play on Saturday night in Kingston.
Craig Campbell led the charge for the Lakers with 3 goals. Single tallies went to Erik Robichaud, Steven Deeg and veteran Brogan Bailey.
The Lakers dominated in the shot count, outshooting the Paladins 50-22 on the night.
Meantime on Friday night the Lakers fell short 8-1 at the hands of the always tough McGill Redmen.
Jaret Smith netted a power play goal for the only goal for the Lakers in Montreal Friday.
