The Widdifield Wildcats defeated the Algonquin Barons in exciting fashion Friday afternoon by a score of 30-25.
Down 25-23 in the dying seconds Widcats QB Riley Gravelle threw to Cam Ford for the winner for the Cats after the Barons went ahead in the 4th quarter.
Gravelle finished the day with more than 200 yards passing and 2 touchdowns. Logun Hunt finished with 70 yards rushing for the Wildcats.
The win evens the Cats record at 1-1, the Barons drop to 0-2.
