The North Bay Midget AAA Trappers took a 4-3 lead into the third period but could not hold on.
The Sudbury Nickel Capital Wolves scored 2 unanswered goals in the 3rd period to edge the Trappers 5-4 at West Ferris arena on Thursday night.
Charlie Iseroff got the lone goal in the first period as the Trappers took a 1-0 lead into the dressing from after 20 minutes.
The Trappers scored 3 times in the middle frame including goals by Finn Seguin, Jeff Jordan and Robert Ranger.
Alex Guido scored twice for Sudbury. The win improves the Wolves' record to 2-0 on the season.
The loss drops the Trappers record to 2-2.
The Trappers hit the road on the weekend as they visit the Soo Midget AAA Thunderbirds on Saturday night in Sault Ste. Marie. The follow up with a matinee affair at 12:30 on Sunday to finish up the weekend double header in the Lock City.
