Ontario Electric defeated Carte Blanche Rotarians 5-1 to win the North Bay Mens Skater's Edge Senior Baseball Championships in 2 straight games in the best-of-three final.

After posting a 10-6 victory on Tuesday night Ontario Electric had their difficulties against a very resilient group that started the season at the bottom but progressed throughout the season hammering defending champions Assante 16-3 on Monday to advance to the final.

Tonight Ontario Electric had Jake Tougas going and he kept Carte Blanche bats at bay only allowing 1 run on six hits pitching a complete game victory.

Tougas is on his way to Wilfrid Laurier to play in his third year with the defending OUA Baseball Champion Wilfrid Laurier Hawks.

Jason Ferreira led the way at the plate for Ontario Electric going 3 for 4 and 2 Runs batted in. Tougas added two hits with Ryan Scott, Nick Scott, Pat Rideout and Graham Gauthier adding one hit apiece.

Matt Sookram pitched well in defeat before giving way to Devon in the 5th. Adam Campbell drove in the only Rotarian run with a solid single to left.

This ends another successful Men's Senior League season. The league would like to thank all their sponsors that make their season possible. Thanks goes out to Carte Blanche, Rotary Club, Grecos on Lakeshore, Ontario Electric, Casey's, Assante, Lucenti,Orlando and Ellies.
