The North Bay Figure Skating Club completed the Summer School season on July 26, 2014.
The school provided figure skating lessons to children and youth from North Bay and surrounding area.
The final day of the skating school was a regional test day.
Of 27 Skate Canada tests attempted, there were 22 passes including two Gold level tests.
Ella King was successful in achieving her Gold Skills test and Carina Demarco completed her Gold Free Skate Test.
For Carina, this is her final gold test and she has completed gold tests in all four figure skating disciplines (Interpretive, Dance, Skills, and Free Skate).
This is the highest test level possible for a figure skater and is a huge accomplishment for this 17-year-old student from Algonquin Secondary School.
