It appears Brendan O'Neill's time with the North Bay Battalion is up.

The University of Ontario Institute of Technology based out of Oshawa, is reporting they have committed to the Battalion goaltender for the 2014-15 season.

O'Neill, who still has one year of junior eligibility remaining, sported a 14-12-2 record in 33 appearances with the Battalion in 2013-14.  The Ilderton, Ontario product also finished with a 3.04 Goals Against Average and a .891 save percentage.

O'Neill will likely make his return to Memorial Gardens as a member of the UOIT Ridgebacks early in the new season, as his new team will take on the Nipissing Lakers on Saturday, October 4th.

Utility player Connor Jarvis recently committed to the Ridgebacks as well.

Last year the speedy Jarvis netted 4 goals along with 9 assists in 52 games with the Troops.

It's expected that playoff goaltending star Jake Smith and 2013 5th round pick Evan Cormier will share the Battalion goaltending duties in 2014-15.

Battalion training camp is set to begin at Memorial Gardens on August 27th.
