The North Bay Granite Club will host the 2015 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship November 8th to 15th at the local Curling club .
"We're proud that North Bay has been chosen as the 2015 Championship Host city and are confident all guests will receive a warm northern Ontario welcome from the residents and businesses of North Bay," organizers of the event stated in a press release Monday.
"We look forward to welcoming curlers and guests from across Canada in addition to the large number of curling enthusiasts here in Northern Ontario."
The mixed team from the Port Arthur Curling Club of Thunder Bay will be representing Northern Ontario at the Championship and there are 13 other teams participating from all 10 provinces and 3 territories.
All proceeds during the Championship will go towards “the Granite Club Debt Retirement Fund” and Tickets may be reserved by contacting Bobby Ray, Manager, North Bay Granite Club at (705) 472-6740.
