The NIpissing Wild finished off their season Saturday with a 24-7 loss at the hands of the Sudbury Gladiators.

Jordan Sullivan had the only touchdown for the locals on a pass from Wild QB Riley Gravelle.

The Sudbury squad eliminated the Wild, who finished 3-5 on the season, by defeating the first place North Halton Crimson Tide 16-13 in week 8.

The Wild had a bizarre week prior to their home game finale as they won their 3rd contest of the season via forfeit over the Clarington Knights.

Ticket proceeds from Saturday's game at Steve Omischl Sports Complex went towards the 2015 Special Olympic Ontario Winter Games, which will take place next January and February here in North Bay.
