Former North Bay Y Titans Swimmer Dominique Bouchard grabbed three podium finishes at the Canadian Swimming Championships at the Shaw Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan this week.

Bouchard, who swam for the University of Missouri and now swims out of the Oakville Swim Club, grabbed the top spot in the 100 M Backstroke with a time of 1:01.65 on the first day of competition on July 16th.

On the following day she won bronze in the 50 M Backstroke with a time of 29:02.

The Ecole Secondaire Algonquin graduate swam to her second first place finish with a time of 2:10.16 in the 200 M Backstroke.

Bouchard hopes this is a move in the right direction as she attempts to make Canada's Olympic team for the 2016 Summer Games set for Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
