Youth V-ball club plans Tourney in Support of Special Olympics

Lakers North Bay Youth Volleyball Club (NBYVC) is organizing a beach volleyball charity league tournament in support of the Special Olympics Ontario 2015 Winter Games, coming to North Bay January 29th to February 1st.

Lakers North Bay Youth Volleyball Club (NBYVC) is organizing a beach volleyball charity league tournament in support of the Special Olympics Ontario 2015 Winter Games, coming to North Bay January 29th to February 1st.

The games will be taking place at the beach courts at the Government Dock in North Bay, starting on July 23rd with each team playing one game per week with a wrap-up tournament on Saturday, September 6th.

The league is open to all male and female teams, in 8 age divisions, from U12 (born in 2003) to U19 (born in 1996).  The entry deadline is 4 PM on July 21st with a fee of $100 per teams of 2-4 players.

The 2015 Winter Games are being hosted by the North Bay Police Service, with the support and participation of numerous individuals, organizations and agencies throughout the community and beyond. 

The Service is working in partnership with Special Olympics Ontario to organize and run the Games.
