Five members of the North Bay Battalion got mentions, with Barclay Goodrow winning a pair of categories and hitting the board in three others, when the Ontario Hockey League released results of its Coaches Poll on Wednesday.

In voting by Eastern Conference coaches, Goodrow was selected as the hardest worker and best defensive forward. He finished second as best shootout shooter, was third in voting for best penalty killer and tied for third for best shot.

Jake Smith finished second in voting for best puck-handling goalie, while Marcus McIvor was third in balloting for best defensive defenceman.

Ben Thomson had two third-place finishes, as most underrated player and best body checker, and Nick Paul was third in the best on faceoffs category.

In the voting conducted within each conference, each club nominated one player in each of 20 categories.
