Peewee AA Minor Trappers bring in big haul for Coach4Food

Friday, December 07, 2012   by: Chris Dawson

The Peewee AA Minor Trappers went door to door all over North Bay for the Coach4Food Program and their effort paid off as they picked up another 3,073 pounds of food for this year's campaign.

Sponsored by Ted Thomson's Assante Wealth Management, the Trappers have pushed Tom Hedican's program to 9,932 pounds in an effort to fill the North Bay Food Bank.

Hedican, a professional goaltending consultant, is running practices using NHL and European skill drills for teams which do food drives for the North Bay Food Bank. Coach4Food will wrap up Dec 19.
