Midget AAA Trappers demolish Legion 87's

The North Bay Midget AAA Trappers scored 9 goals in the 2nd period as the locals throttled the last place Kirkland Lake Legion 87's 18-2 at West Ferris arena on Sunday afternoon. Tyler Peters led the onslaught with 4 goals.
Nathaniel Mcleod, Aaron Dart, Jake Staples and Steven Leveque added 2 goals apiece.
Singles goal scorers were Eric Champagne, Matthew Buckley, Cole Filiatrault, Jackson Newman, Cooper Chirico, and Matthew Buckley.
Tyler Kennedy registered 5 assists as well for the Trappers.
Mitchell Nikitin and Dalton Bruce had the only goals for the 87's.
The win improves the Midget Trappers record to 6-9-0-0-1 on the season.
The Legion 87's fall to 1-20 on the season.
