The much improved Toronto Moose took advantage of some costly mistakes by the Voyageurs and hung on for the victory.

In Friday's loss, the Voyageur goal scorers were Travis Rose with a pair, Evan Sutton, Erik Mills, Branden Bauer, and Keaton Gadway all chipping in with singles. Assists went to John Sweet with a pair, Bauer, Ashton Haley, Sutton, Andrew Demarco, Mark Orazietti, Cody Lacelle, and James Tulloch.

On Sunday afternoon, the Voyageurs rode the goaltending of Jan Blazek to a key victory. It was as solid a game as the Voyageurs have played all year and the coaching staff was delighted to see that from the players.

Voyageurs goal scorers were John Sweet with two, and singles going to Travis Rose, Avery Antone, Evan Sutton, and Ashton Haley. John Sweet also chipped in with 3 assists for a 5 point night and Evan Sutton chipped in with 3 assists for a 4 point night.

The Voyageurs have a busy schedule this coming weekend with a game at home in Mattawa Friday evening against the visiting Orangeville Americans, and then have a home and home series with Defending champs Sturgeon Falls Saturday evening in Sturgeon and back home in Mattawa Sunday afternoon. See you there!
