The Widdifield Wildcats fell to 0-2-1 in the NOSSA 'AAA' hockey tournament taking place in North Bay, as they dropped a 4-1 decision to the LaSalle Lancers Wednesday morning.
Alain Pouliot scored the lone goal for the Cats. Jeremy Roy was in goal for the loss.
The loss eliminates the Wildcats from a birth in the final as they lost 5-1 to the West Ferris Trojans on Tuesday night.
The Trojans (1-1) can punch a ticket to the final with a win Wednesday morning against the Central Algoma Huskies.
