FRY, Vernon Rayfield

Vernon Fry died peacefully, following a brief illness, at North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Friday, August 14, 2015. He was in his 88th year. Vernon was predeceased by his wife Eileen Pearl (Dobbs) (1930-2011). Vernon was the beloved father of Ardele (Jim Brooks) of Kincardine, Cynthia (Bryan Trussler) of Kitchener, Harley of Powassan and Vicki (James Harcourt) of Cobble Hill, B.C. He was the proud grandfather of Ian (Kerri), Allison (Simon), Joshua (Shalon), Nicolas (Ilona), JoHana and great-grandfather of Macara, Jacob, Liam, Aaron, Dakota, Oscar, Jordan, William, Everett and Glen. Vernon was the dear brother of Gilbert Fry (Lisa) of Powassan and Rodney Fry (June) of Nipissing. He was predeceased by his sister Phyllis Bolton (Elmer of Arnstein) and brother Alfred Fry (Alma of Powassan). The Fry family will receive visitors at Corner Gospel Church, Restoule, on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the church on Wednesday, August 19 at 11 am. Interment will follow at Commanda Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society, Corner Gospel Church or the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation are suggested.
