Peacefully, at North Bay Regional Health Centre with family by his side, on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 in his 84th year. Gord was the beloved husband of Gloria Ethel (Boyce). He was the loving father of Lori (Ken) of Powassan, Neil (Doris) of Toronto and Jamie of Powassan and grandfather of Beau Gordon, Tyler, Graham, Joshua, Hannah, Madalyn, Nicholas and Caiden. Gord was predeceased by his parents Edith Louise (Graff) and Stanley Edward Anderson and is survived by his siblings John (Edna) of Sudbury, Keith (Lois) of London, Marion (Don Mumby) of Ottawa and Eileen (Tom Bunn) of Hamilton. The Anderson family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Friday, August 14, 2015 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm, and at Chisholm United Church on Saturday, August 15, 2015 from 10 to 11 am. A funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Teresa Jones on Saturday at 11 am in the church. Interment will follow at Boxwell Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Chisholm United Church or a Masonic charity are suggested.
