Joanisse, Claude Henry

(Jan. 3, 1935 – June 23, 2015) – passed away peacefully on June 23rd at the NBRHC with his two sons by his side after a courageous battle to stay. Claude leaves to mourn his beloved wife Denise, sons Rob (Cristina) and Jeff. He was so special to his grand-daughters Brooke and Breanne Joanisse who will miss their Poppa. Fondly remembered by the Pelletier family. Predeceased by his parents Henry and Marion Joanisse. Also survived by sisters Helene Drouin (Victor) and Lea Joanisse, his grandson Graham Joanisse, nephew D’Arcy Drouin and niece Nikki Drouin. Claude was a dedicated longtime employee and well liked by all who knew him. He took great pride in his sons’ accomplishments and was happiest when surrounded by his family. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A private burial is planned along with a gathering to reminisce and honour his memory. Arrangements entrusted to HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES. In his final months, Claude was happy at home and for that, we are grateful.
