Passed away peacefully on June 18, 2015 at Cassellholme Home for the Aged at the age of 88 years old. He was the loving husband of the late Marie (nee Cyr). Cherished father of Dennis, James (Lorraine), Kevin (Heather) and Pat Levesque (Hector). He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Kara Jenkins (Jamie), Dax Hotten (Chantal), Michelle Levesque, Marc Levesque, Sabrina Hotten, Jack Chudleigh, Jacob Hotten and his great grandchildren Madison, Daxton and Olivia. William leaves behind his loving friend Barb Tandy, his brother Richard (Kaye), sister-in-law Cecile Austin, brother-in-law Paul Tauvette and his many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Richard and Sylvia (nee Wagner). Bill's job as an OPP officer brought him and Marie to North Bay in 1951, where they made their home and raised their family. Years later, Bill became the Financial Administrator at Nipissing University where he worked from the time it opened its doors until he retired. Bill was an active member of the community, serving on several boards, including Cassellholme and was a long-time member of the Lions Club.
The family would like to thank the staff on B1 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre as well as the staff on the 2nd floor at Cassellholme for their attentive care and the occasional dance with Bill. Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Wednesday June 24 from 11am to the time of the service at 12noon.
