Jackson, Richard Alfred 'Dick'

Unexpectedly passed away at his residence in Lively, Ontario on June 3rd 2015 at the age of 80 years, with his beloved dog Huey at his side. Dick is survived by his five children; Barbara Rewega, Chris Jackson (Julie), Steven Jackson (Fe), Margaret-Ann Godfrey (Dale), and Patricia Jackson (Andy Lyle). He was the grandfather of ten grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his reliable neighbor and friends; Ron Young and Sherry McDougall. Dick was born in England to the late Benjamin and Bertha Amos. Dick moved to Canada when he was 22 with his 2 brothers; Sidney (Cathy-deceased), James-deceased and sisters; Joyce Cribben and Phyllis Soar. He married Marie Phillips and together raised 5 children. He later met Anita Keskinen and they spent 27 years together until she died in 2006. He worked for the Town of Walden until his retirement in 1999. He loved his Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Blue Jays, fishing, golfing, taxidermy and all animals. Rest in Peace Dad. At his request, cremation has taken place with no visitation or funeral service.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the McGuinty Funeral Home.
