WALSH, Gertrude Margaret (nee Fewer) 'Nan'

The Walsh family sadly announces the passing of their dear mother Gertrude at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Saturday May 23, 2015 in her 94th year. The proud and loving mother of Frances Gibbins (Robert) of Feronia, Cyril (Hilda) of Hollyrood, NF, Pat (Jeannette) & Mike (Nancy) both of North Bay, Ag Boyce (Dan) of Kelowna, B.C., & Noreen Gleason (Mark) also of North Bay. Predeceased by her parents Mike and Rose (Cook), daughter Anne Marie, grandson Tony Walsh, her sisters Mary Langemead, Josephine Taylor, and brothers Pat, William and John. Fondly remembered by her sister Bride Snow, and brothers Tom (Mary Anne), Art (Bride) and Mike (Jeannine). A dedicated mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Gertrude "Nan" has enjoyed the pleasures of being involved in the lives and sharing in the accomplishments of her children and their families. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Stace, Kate, Sarah, Shawn, Kevin, Amanda, Kelly, Chantal, Anita, Darrell, Christina, Brenda, Diane, Sherry, Buck, Wayne, and Harry, her 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Gertrude most enjoyed the time spent with her family, but especially the many camping trips they shared. Her family would like to thank Dr. Shaw, the Nursing staff of the NBRHC, especially the Staff on A1 for their compassionate care. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. Friends may visit the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Saturday June 20, 2015 from 12 noon until the memorial service in the chapel at 2:00pm.
