With deepest sympathy, the family announces the passing of Allan McCarthy age 35 yrs on Thursday April 23, 2015. Proud father of “D.J.” Dakota Jackson, Phoenix Kotslidis-McCarthy and Damian Philion. Survived by his loving parents, Norman and Deborah McCarthy. He was a big brother to loving sister Amanda McCarthy, and brothers Dylan Smith and Keegan McColman. Cherished uncle of Amaris, Kylo, Leeland, Maverick, Jerzee, Denver, Toryn and Faith. Allan will be dearly missed by his grandparents, Elsworth and Joyce Horner from Echo Bay. He will be missed dearly by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Predeceased by loving grandparents; Norman Sr. and Geraldine McCarthy. Family will receive visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2- 4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday at 11 am. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.  If desired donations are being received to be placed in trust for Allan’s children “D.J.” Dakota Jackson, Phoenix Kotslidis-McCarthy and Damian and will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
