Adams, Freda (Riopelle)

(1921-2015) - Passed away peacefully at Leisureworld on Saturday April 18, 2015.  Beloved wife of 73 yrs to Roy Adams. She was predeceased by one daughter Beverly Anne.  Loving mother of Beverly (Jim – deceased), Wayne (Diane), Michael (Dorothy). She will be dearly remembered by ten grandchildren Robert & Jennifer Cunningham, Aaron & Tyler Adams, Trevor & Rick Burke, Mike Jr., Sam & Lisa Adams. Janet & Steven and by nineteen great grandchildren Brayden & Justin, Isaiah Codi, Troy, Jackson, Mason, Logan, Kendra, Daisy, Natalie, Emrys and Skye, Eric James, Declan, Aidan, Jack, Ella & Jaime. Also survived by two sisters Pearl Vrebosch & Myrtle Korosec. Freda was also predeceased by her parents Josephine & Samuel Riopelle and by three brothers and six sisters. In the Second World War Freda worked in Toronto at the John Inglis plant making the Bren guns. She worked for Jack Cangiano Real Estate as a salesperson. Freda also had a few room & board homes for students. A celebration of her life will be held at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd, on Saturday April 25th at 11:00am. Special thanks to the all the staff at Leisureworld for the wonderful care given to Freda during her lengthy stay.  Donations in memory of Freda to the Alzheimer Society (cheques only) would be appreciated by her family.
