Barry, Gerald Patrick

Passed away in North Bay, after a short illness on Wednesday March 25th 2015 surrounded by his family. He was born August 29th, 1931 in Cardiff South Wales to Mary and Patrick Barry. In 1956 he married Pat Casey and together they raised their children Jeff (Tammy), Leslie (Doug), Michelle (David) and Joanne. Grandfather of Casey, CJ, Colin, Morgan, Victoria, Evan and Molly. Great grandfather of Claire.  Gerald retired staff sergeant after 33 years from the North Bay Police force in 1991 and has enjoyed many years as a “snowbird”. Gerald loved more than anything to spend time with his family and grandchildren. Many thanks to Dr. Cowan and the North Bay Regional Health Centre for all their care and support. A celebration of Gerald’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, 150 First Ave West North Bay on Saturday March 28th at 2pm.
