“A Great Man” passed away at Health Sciences North in Sudbury, on Sunday, March 8th, 2015. Ralph Joseph Hillier Hunt was the beloved husband of Carol-Ann Beattie (nee Hampel) and the late Lorice Martha Hunt (nee Haddad), He was 78 years old. Loving father of Christine and her husband Donald Davis, Kevin Hunt, Carrie and her husband Robert Witiuk, Craig Hunt all of North Bay. Father in law to Karen Hunt. “Gramps” was loved by his grandchildren, Lindsay Witiuk and Sean Davis. Ralph will be lovingly remembered by and Carol-Ann’s children; Lyall Beattie, Robert and Justine Beattie and their children, Oliver and Meredith. Ralph was the dearly loved brother of the late Joyce Kromrey of Nanaimo, of the late Cora Scott of Mississauga and the late Denton Hunt of Mississauga. Ralph will be dearly missed by the Hunt family, the Hampel family and the Haddad family. Ralph served with the Royal Canadian Air Force for 34 years, retiring in 1986 as a Master Warrant Officer. Ralph’s family will receive friends at the Martyn Funeral Home on Saturday, March 14th from 1:00 PM until time for a Memorial Service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 PM.
