Predeceased by his parents Art and Pearl and 2 sisters Mona and Gloria. Turk   leaves behind 3 daughters Karen Laporte  (Gord), Cheryl Noel (Tom Diggles) and Sandra Bialowicz ( Rob). 7 grandchildren G.R.,Leeann, Ashley, Mathew, Carlee, Noah, Nicki and 4 great grandchildren Etta, Theo , Emma and Archie. He is survived by 3 brothers Vic, Brian and Joe. Tom’s sons Jason, Brad and Kevin got to appreciate his humour. He will also be missed by his best friend Mike Shaw.

He spent his working career as an engineer at the Ontario Northland Railway. After his stroke, he relied on his family and during that time his family benefited from his mentorship, zest for life, and fighting spirit. Turk was a great example of living life to the fullest and he will be missed by all. The family sends a shout out to Dr. Senior, Cassellholme and their staff with a special thanks to Jayne, Ruth and Krysta.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday June 16, 2015. If desired, donations to the heart and stroke foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
