Gavan, Mary Elizabeth (nee South)

(1918-2014) - Peacefully at the Cassellholme Nursing Home in the early evening of Saturday December 13, 2014 our beloved mother left us to join her family. Daughter of the late Florence (Milne) South and Fred Henry South. Predeceased by her husband; Michael J. Gavan, daughter; Colleen Gavan, grand-daughter; Sheryl Lanctot, grandson; Sean Gavan and siblings; Norman, Margaret and Grace; survived by her sister Dorothy. Cherished and loved mother of Michael (Karen) Gavan of Guelph, Ontario and Catherine (Henry) Beland of Arnprior, Ontario. Sadly missed by her grandchildren; Ryan and Sherrie; great-grandchildren Jeffrey, Stephanie, Sarah, Iain and Simon and by her nieces and nephews. Her memory will be held in our hearts forever. Cremation is to take place and a service will be held at a later date. Those wishing to make a memorial donation may do so to the charity of choice.
