Walsh, Doreen Marie

(1943-2014) - Doreen passed away peacefully on November 6, 2014, with her family by her side, at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 70 years. She was the beloved wife of Ronald Walsh. Dear mother of Tracey Walsh, Melanie Ducharme and Jason (Josée Daoust) all of North Bay. She was a special  “Nanny” to Kealey, Taryn and Tanner. Also survived by her sisters Patricia (William Clifford), Barbara Marzo, Fred Buchanan (Sheila), John Buchanan (Diane –deceased), Marcel Buchanan (Ruth), Ron Buchanan (Mary) and Barry Buchanan (Lorraine). Predeceased by her parents Richard and Marie Buchanan. Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd., on Sunday November 9th  2 until 4 and 7 and 9 pm. Funeral Mass at St Peter the Apostle Church on Monday November 10th at 11 am. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association (cheques only) in memory of Doreen will be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
