Freier, Sylvia Frances

On Sunday, November 2, 2014, surrounded with all the love she freely and abundantly gave, Sylvia Frances Freier (nee Hampson) transitioned from being an earth angel to watching over all those loved and who loved her to become their guardian angel.  She will be remembered by all whose lives she touched for her loving ways, generosity, and sense of humour.  She will be kept close in the hearts of those she left behind.  Predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward Freier, and loving parents Frank and Phyllis Hampson.  Cherished mother of Sandra Nash (Dan Power Jr.) and Kevin Freier (Linda).  Adored grandmother of Jordanna Van Oosten (Tony), Graham Nash (Melissa), Caron and Kelsan Freier.  Treasured GG of Owen and Alienna.  Dear sister of Betty Little (Bob), Joyce Cieri (Gino), Joan Wood, Don (Gloria), Paul (Debbie), Frank (Ruth), Bryan (Doris), Larry (Linda), and Rick (Terry) Hampson, all of St. Catharines.  No visitation. Memorial service will be conducted by Reverend Jane Howe at St. Andrew’s United Church on Thursday, November 6th at 1:30 p.m.  As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Friendship Group at St. Andrew’s United Church, the Parkinson's Society, or the Kidney Foundtion would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
