Nickerson, Richard

Slipped peacefully away on October 31 in his 84rd year. Dearly loved by wife Angeline, their children Kent, Eric and Lori and grandchildren Alex, Emily and Audrey. Predeceased by beloved daughter, Lynn. Born on Cape Sable Island, Nova Scotia, Richard served for 38 years in the Canadian Armed Forces, rising from Lancaster air crew to the rank of Major at CFB North Bay. As a family man, he leaves behind a rich legacy of love and respect. We will all miss him. In lieu of a Funeral Service, a Celebration of Life for Richard will be held early in the new year.
