Passed away peacefully on October 27, 2014 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury at the age of 79 years. Beloved father of Alice Thibeault (Orville), Richard, Danny (Nadine), Lawrence (Sue), Mike (Lillian) and Jean Luc. Dan will be sadly missed by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Archie, Mac, Rosemai, Victor and Marie. He will be sadly missed by his furry companion Dakota. He will be sadly missed by Jeannette, Ed and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents; Oscar and Alice (nee Moreau) and several brothers and sisters. Family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home on October 31, 2014 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm. Funeral service will be held in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel following visitation at 8 pm.
