Hollick, Michael

Peacefully passed away at Cassellholme Home for the Aged on October 26, 2014 at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of Bertha (nee Konias). Loving father of Ron, Anna Marie Morrow (Bob) and father-in-law of Victoria Hollick. Cherished grandpa of Michael, Gregory (Bridgett), Ian, Natalie, Adam, Danielle and Julia. Dear brother of Rosie Ruznisky, Pete Hollick and Paul Hollick. Mike will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.Predeceased by his parents; Carl and Pauline (nee Stankowsky), his sons; Doug and Frank,  his brothers; Joe, Tom, John, Ed, Frank, Walter and his sisters; Annie, Helen, Josephine, Katy and Mary. Mike was an accomplished mason, carpenter and bricklayer who worked until he was 80; his passions included fishing, golfing, the outdoors and making wine. He was a devoted, loving dad and grandpa whom will be deeply missed. Family will receive friends at the McGuinty Funeral Home on Saturday from 10 am till 12:30 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the Pro Cathedral of the Assumption at 1 pm. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of choice would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
