Foisy, Marie (nee Amyotte)

Peacefully passed away surrounded by her family in her 92nd year at the Algonquin Nursing Home in Mattawa on October 16, 2014. Predeceased by her husband Idas Foisy. Marie was the loving mother of Gilles (Pat), Gaetan (Alice), Claude (Sharon), Nicole (Leo) Duchesne, Louise (Roman) Balansiak and Richard (Susan). She will be sadly missed by her 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Paul, Bernadette and Theresa. Marie was predeceased by her daughter Lorraine (Boris-surviving) Peteh, her parents Alexander and Aurore (Savard) Amyotte, 7 sisters and 4 brothers. Marie was an avid gardener and was a member of the Golden Age Club, and Filles d’Isabelle. Family will receive friends at the McGuinty Funeral Home on Sunday October 19, 2014 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Paroisse Ste. Bernadette in Bonfield on Monday October 20, 2014. Interment to follow in Ste. Bernadette Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Ste.
