MORIN (nee Dupont), Marie Theresa

It’s with great sorrow the family announces the passing of Marie Morin at the Mattawa General Hospital on Thursday, October 2, 2014 she was 95 years old. Marie was the beloved wife of the late Albert Francis Morin.  Loving mother of  Cathy Moore and her husband Orville,  Edgar Morin, Gordon Morin and his wife Doreen, Hector Morin and his wife Ruth, Tommy Morin, Leona Morin and her partner Mel Caldwell , Vincent Morin, Priscilla Beauchamp, Marlene Groulx and Sherry Cauvier and her husband Denis.  She will be lovingly remembered by her 27 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and  great -great grandchildren.  Marie was predeceased by her parents Patrick and Margarite Dupont, by her children Theodore Morin and Linda Morin, her grandchildren  Michael Morin and Linda Cauvier,  her siblings Charles and Virginia, and by her daughter-in-law Jean and sons-in-law Larry and Ronald.  She had been an active member of the Mattawa Golden Age and loved her pets and to play bingo.  Visitation will be held in the Martyn & Sloan “Mattawa Chapel” on Sunday, October 5th, 2014 from 1-4 and 7-9 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church on Monday, October 6th, 2014 at 11:00 am.  Interment to follow at Stonecliffe Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzhiemer’s Society, Bear Creek Kennels/ Heart and Pet Rescue or North Bay Humane Society (cheques only) would be appreciated by her family.  Online condolences at www.martynfh.com
