Peacefully passed away on August 25, 2014 at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by her husband Leo Laferriere. Beloved mother of Marcel (Colleen), Suzanne, Debbie Nicholas (Kevin McGruthers) and Lynn Robert (Leon). Laura will be sadly missed by her 7 grandchildren; Chantalle, Darryl, Jason, Nicole, Natasha, Rachelle, Marc and 10 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Bertha Perrier (O’Neill). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Laura is predeceased by her parents: Eva Sauve, Paul Chayer and Fabiana Bedard, her daughter; Beverly Ann and son-in-law Richard Nicholas. Memorial service will be conducted in the McGuinty Funeral Home on Saturday at 11 am. Interment of cremated remains to follow in the Astorville Cemetery.
