Laperriere, Cecile (nee Piche)

Peacefully passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on August 19, 2014 at the age of 94 years. Predeceased by her husband Oscar. Loving mother of Rhéal (Jacqueline), Isabelle Guay (Gerry), Monique Whitnall (Don), Diane Foisy (Michel) and Richard (Lucie). Fondly remembered by her grandchildren; Robert Laperrière, Michel and Daniel Guay, Nicole Séguin, Gilbert and Germain Poitras, Serge Foisy, Ashley De Rocchis and André Laperrière. Proud great-grandma of Jason and Cruz Laperrière, Emma Jamieson-Guay,Jamie, Cera and Lilly Guay, Christopher and Amanda Séguin, Katelyn Monkman, Brody, Ashten and Caleb Poitras, Fréderick and Mathéo Foisy and Lila DeRocchis. She will be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Cécile’s passions were gardening, playing cards, shuffle board and her love of kids. Family will be receiving friends at the McGuinty Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Paroisse St Vincent-de-Paul on Friday at 10:30 am.
