Couchie, Susan (1915-2014)

Susan passed away peacefully at  Anishnabe Long Term Care Centre in Notre Dame du Nord, Quebec, on Saturday August 2, 2014 at the age of 99 years.  She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Couchie, her mother Mary Elizabeth (nee Petrant) Chief and father Jacob John Chief.. Dear mother of Hubert Chief (wife Sybil) of North Bay. She will be lovingly remembered  by 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her adopted son Michael Couchie and a sister Clarabelle Perreault of Notre Dame du Nord. Susan retired from  the former St Joseph’s Hospital in North Bay after 22 years of service. Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd., on Tuesday August 5th from 6 until 8 pm. Funeral service Wednesday August 6th at the funeral home at 11 am.
