On Tuesday, July 29, 2014 Joanne - age 56 - passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Center. Joanne is survived by her beloved partner Andre Seguin, children Andrew Walker, Matthew Walker, (father Lonnie Walker) Jonathan Schaller, Luke Schaller (father Richard Schaller) and was step mother to Kara Boucher and Krista Dyck. Dearly loved sister of George Ethier (Yvonne), Collette Vandecasteyen (Kim), Michael & Richard Ethier and Judy Bainbridge, she will be lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Marcel and Georgette Ethier. Joanne worked for many years in Alberta, Whitehorse and Yellowknife before returning to the North Bay and Temiscaming area. Joanne battled with cancer and was an active member of the Warriors of Hope in North Bay. Donations to the Warriors of Hope in North Bay would be appreciated by the family.
