Mathieu, Reina (nee Genest)

Passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on July 17, 2014 at the age of 93 years. Loving wife of the late Albert Mathieu. Cherised mother of Orvald (Elaine) of Garson, Theresa Bertrand (Roly) of Monetville, Victor (Gill) of N.B., Michael (Patty) of White River, Adele Moore (Shawn) of Orleans. Reina is predeceased by her sons Ron (Joyce surviving) and Norman (Emma surviving) and her daughter Paulette Taylor (Ron surviving). Predeceased by her parents Paul and Courana (nee Leblond) Genest and siblings Rhea Gauthier, Leona Charrette (Victor), Viola Dorion (Wilfred), Pauline Allarde, Jeannine Beaulieu (Lucien). Reina will be deeply missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at McGuinty Funeral Home on August 1st, 2014 from 7-9pm, and also August 2nd, 2014 from 9-11am followed by a service in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel. A private burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery will take place at a later date. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by her family.
