Doucette, Henry (Red)

It is with great sorrow that the Doucette family announces the unexpected death of their husband, father and grandfather on July 10, 2014, Henry (Red) Doucette. Red is survived by his spouse Vicki (Allard), children Sonja Courchesne (Stephen), Jon (Susan Holliday), Heidi Modeen (David) of North Bay and Wilhelmina (Billie) Richer (Tim) of New Liskeard.  He was Grandpa Red to eight grandchildren, Joshua (Lisa), Jordanne, Joseph, Bree, Kaatje, Azaria, Brady and Teagan.  Missing Red is his petpal Faith. Born in Amsterdam Holland Henry came to Canada in 1945 on the Queen Mary. Sunday, July 20th, a celebration of Red’s life will take place from noon to 4:00 pm at the Davedi Club, Airport Road. Cremation has taken place.  Cremation arrangements entrusted to HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES. Donations to a charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
