JOCKO: ANNE (ANNIE)

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Anne Jocko (nee TONGUE) share the news of her peaceful passing at Mattawa General Hospital, on May 20, 2013. Surrounded by grandchildren, Annie slipped away to embark on her final paddle home.
She is survived by her best friend and soul mate, Jean Roch Lambert, son Tony Jocko (Karen), of Hanmer, and son in law John " Jack " Whalen of Mattawa.
She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Vince Jocko (Lianne), Kriston Purdy (Allison), John Purdy (Adrianna), Peter Purdy (Natalie), Patsy Ely, Derek Jocko (JoNeal), and Dr. Jennifer Jocko (Brad), and great grandchildren Anne, Jacinthe, Amanda, Liam, Maggie, Sam, Alexandra, James, Alisha, Twyla, Shaolin, Laniya, Roger, Bret, Hannah, Zachary, Caitlin, Jack, Logan, Selena, Bruce, Haddon, and great great grandchildren Malacai, Yuna.
Annie was predeceased by her first husband Kenneth Jocko, son Bruce "Nuffy " Jocko, daughter Agatha "Mitzi" Whalen, daughter in law Sharon Jocko, nephew Aaron Jocko, and brother George Tongue.
A celebration of Annie's life will be held on Friday May 31, 2013, at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. If desired donations to the Mattawa General Hospital (cheque only) would be appreciated by the family.
