Alvin and the Chipmunks are just some of the celebrity groups making an appearance at the annual Can-do Theatre Christmas Special Thursday December, 12th at One Kids Place.
After weeks of rehearsals the kids of Can-do Theatre have picked their costumes, learned their dance steps, memorized their lines and are set for the curtain to rise for ‘A Very CAN-do Christmas.’
This year’s children's program presents a musical revue of the group’s favorite Children's Christmas specials including, The Polar Express, Rudolph The Red-nosed Reindeer, and The Grinch that Stole Christmas!
Unlike other theatre troupes, Can-do Theatre faces many challenges and obstacles along the way to performance night but Director Michelle Webster says the growth she sees in the children and the pride on the faces of the parents watching makes the journey well worth the work.
Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children under 12.
Showtime is 6:30pm and tickets can be purchased from the cast or at the door at One Kids Place.
Can-do Theatre is an inclusive theatre company dedicated to individuals in North Bay and Area with autism and other special needs.
