The North Bay City Police and the OPP say access near the airport is limited as both police agencies are on the lookout for two more  possibly armed suspects.

Police say the initial call came in around 4 am.

At around 8:30 a.m., North Bay Police had locked down the roadways going into CFB North Bay from Airport Road and Carmichael Drive.

Two males are in custody, and two individuals are still being sought, said police Sunday morning.

North Bay police ask the public to avoid the Airport Road/CFB North Bay area as they search for the other individuals.

Three large OPP Tactical and Rescue Unit (Tru team) were seen racing up Airport hill around 8:20 am.

OPP tweeted that the male suspects in the Hornell Heights area are described as tall, thin build wearing black. They suggest anyone who sees them should not approach and contact the authorities.

OPP through social media say they are currently seeking  the two other suspects.

We will keep you updated on this developing story...
