The overall weather pattern over North America is about to change this weekend.
The dry, hot weather in western Canada is about to come to an end with wet, cooler weather.
This transition will shift the hot weather further east, into the Great Lakes region, and bring a much warmer stretch of weather for the start of September, than we have seen for all of August.
For most of the week, temperatures will range from 27 to 29, add in the humidex and it will feel more like 35.
Extensive sunshine is also predicted.
Normal high for this time of year in North Bay is 21. But into next week the heat will build as temperatures climb to near record high values.
