Police say at around 10:15 p.m. this past Monday, the male driver of a small, two-door red pickup truck was travelling eastbound on Wyld Street.

A male teenager was riding a longboard skateboard and cut across the eastbound lane where he was struck by the truck. However, other reports say the boy didn't cut across the road, but both were traveling in the same direction and he was side swiped and his foot run over.

The driver stopped to check on the teenager, who said he was okay. Both left the scene without sharing information about each other.

Now, North Bay Police are looking to speak to the driver of the pickup truck.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Constable Jennifer Dix at 705-497-5555.
