OPP report that Hwy 11 was closed at Red Deer Road (Val Gagne) just east of Timmins due to a traffic accident at around 7:30 this morning.
OPP were called to the scene of a motor vehicle collision that occurred on Highway 11, Playfair Township.
The collision involved a northbound tractor trailer and a southbound passenger vehicle.
Matheson Black-River Township Fire Department and Cochrane District Emergency Services also attended the scene.
The driver of the passenger vehicle, Sarah Seaton, 28, of Englehart, was transported to a local hospital where she remains receiving treatment for her injuries.
The driver of the tractor trailer, Grant Logan, 53, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, was treated at the hospital for minor injuries.
