North Bay and area special interest car enthusiasts and motorcyclists had a chance to show off their wheels at Cruisin’ Downtown 7, the 2015 annual DIA car show on Saturday.

It wasn’t the best weather, but the rain didn’t stop the fun. Car super-enthusiast, Dave Palangio, said, “The weather was bad but the spirit of the show came through.”

There were wheels of all sorts, bonnets, boots, rag-tops and soft spots. Roadsters, sports cars and classics were admired by the many onlookers.

Vintage curves of the fifties proved to be the people’s favorite.

A 1953 Meteor with a colour shifting paint job won for People’s Choice.

Stan Walker says it took him three dedicated years to build it. The rain drops rolled right off the Meteor's perfect finish.

Bonnie Walker smiled while gazing at the car. “We went for lunch and what a surprise when came back!”

North Bay's Downtown Improvement Area hosted the DIA Cruisin’ Downtown event with the help of Executive Director Jeff Serran and organizer Craig Rodwell.

While there were classic, pre-antique and antique cars and motorcycles, car journalist Jim Kenzie of MotoringTV was a fan favorite.

The Downtown North Bay thanks everyone that made their Cruisin’ Downtown 7 a huge success on Saturday May 30, 2015.
