Police arrest 16 over the weekend

Over the weekend, North Bay Police responded to 255 calls for service, and arrested and charged 16 people with the following offences:

  • One person was charged with one count of assault, one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and one count of breach of recognizance;
  • One person was charged with one count of trafficking Oxycodone;
  • One person was charged with one count of possession of Oxycodone;
  • One person was charged with one count of possession of marijuana and one count of possession of methamphetamine;
  • One person was charged with one count of theft under $5000 and one count of breach of probation;
  • Two people were charged with utter threats as a result of domestic disputes;
  • One person was charged with one count of assault and one count of mischief related to a domestic dispute;
  • One person was charged with one count of assault police following a domestic dispute;
  • One person was charged with two counts of breach of recognizance and two counts of breach of probation;
  • One person was charged with one count of driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood;
  • Two people were charged with public intoxication;
  • One person was charged with one count of fail to appear;
  • One person was charged with one count of breach of recognizance; and
  • One person was charged with one count of breach of undertaking.
